The Sisterhood GDT- autumn digi

Hey there everyone! So this is my second and final project as part of the March GDT over at The Sisterhood of Crafters! It's been fabulous getting to see everyone's lovely projects :) This week Boni at Dude Time Doodles was gracious enough to let us use her wonderful digi stamps! I found this fabulous fall harvest image and knew exactly what I wanted to do with it :) I have this jar of branches and fillers that I change up every holiday/season, and I knew that this image would look great wrapped around the jar with some great ribbon and twine!

So here's how my project turned out! I popped up some of the pumpkins and gourds using pop dots. The theme for this week's challenge participants is "man or masculine projects"... I think I might have missed that somewhere, but hey, fall colors are generally masculine, and my MAN will get to enjoy this decor piece too, so there we go ;) Hehe!
So come join in on the fun at The Sisterhood of Crafters' "Let's Hear it for the Boys" Challenge!

  4. Oh Shauna, this is so lovely. You colouring is so delicate & soft. Just one question...what are gourds? I'm guessing it's what you call the squash at the front? x

  5. Hi Abi! Yup :) Gourds essentially are for ornamental purposes, whereas squash are for eating :D
