may flowers line your path

so here's my next card using Unity's February Kit of the Month! I love the collection of Irish-type quotes they have, and how great is this flower?! Love it :) I inked up my Memento dew drops, then topped it off with some JoAnn pearls, and a Martha Stewart punched butterfly with a Recollections pearl.

trio of trees

so I just received Unity's February Kit of the Month and I'm LOVING it!!! so many fabulous stamps, and many are geared towards St Patrick's Day, which I love :) over the next week or so I'll be sharing some of the cards I made with the kit- I also plan to make St Patty's cards for all my husband's soldiers over the next week, so I'll post photos when those are done :)

let's kick it off with a Trio of Trees! Loving these!! I'll be posting them on my Etsy shop this weekend. Features gems by K&Co and Recollections, with buttons by Doodlebug, Dress It Up, and my stash, ink by Stazon, and ribbon by Michaels.

rock 'n' roller

so, after a long period away, I'm back! it won't be everyday, like I used to be- I need to spend more time housekeeping, working on my Master's thesis, and spending more time in His Word, but it should be at least a few times a week ;)

this is a border set made for a Disney swap over on SCS. it was for "Disney rides" category, and I did Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, ya know, the rollercoaster set to Aerosmith's music? love it! i love all coasters pretty much :) so here there's 2 borders, 2 photo bits, a journaling piece, and 3 pieces of card candy {well 2 and a lil baggie of music notes!}. let's see... the blue papers are Martha Stewart and the stamps are Unity!

patriotic ornaments

so this post is a bit delayed, I know... I just got back from extended holiday travels. With hubby deployed I took my time visiting his family and my family. Anyhoo, so if you watched HGTV's decorating celebrity homes, you would have seen Eddie Ross' fantastic idea for fabric ornaments which he used in Kathie Lee's home- love it! So I decided to do my own twist on his idea- I gave out these patriotic ornaments to some of my family and friends. I plan on making a lot more of these next year- thanks for the inspiration, Eddie Ross!!

And ladies, now that I'm home, give me just a few more days, then it should be back to posting cards and projects on a regular basis again!!! Thanks for bearing with me whilst I was away! :D

UPDATED: December 2012
I've made these in months since then using all types and patterns of fabric and different size balls! You can find fabric online, at thrift stores, or at your local craft stores.

Supplies
fabric
ribbon
pins
styrofoam balls

Instructions
At the end, I pinned on one big loop of ribbon to hang the ornament!
