Torendi DT try out

Hey ya'll! So... I have a camera on lend from my in-laws {I am so blessed by them, truly} and I should be getting my own camera by the end of the week *yays, and there was much rejoicing* hehe. So I have some posts coming up for you- some are photos taken at my in-laws and some are taken with my iCam on my Mac {I apologize in advance for the poor quality}.

Anyways, so I'm trying out for the new Torendi DT. It's a People's Choice try out, where YOU our lovely blogging friends get to chose who's on the DT! There's three weeks of submissions and YOU get to vote for us! Voting will occur on the 14th, 21st, and 28th of this month. And YOUR vote counts, as each week two designers will be voted out of the competition unfortunately. Voting will take place on the {Torendi Blog}, so if you have a spare minute, head on over and check out all the amazing submissions on the 14th, and if you feel inclined, feel free to send a vote my way :) hehe! And "Thank You" in advance for any and all votes, it means a lot!! :)

My Torendi DT Try Out Submission: Week One
So above is my submission for this week! It was originally inspired when my MIL saw a project in PaperCrafts a few months ago and said to me, "Hey, I really like that, but it should say 'Dig In' not 'Dig It'... and you know, my birthday is in a few months..." So I took the hint. The original quote was "Life's a garden, dig it." My MIL loves gardening, and is really good at it. Well, her birthday rolled around last month and I finally got around to making her present! We had just gotten back from our honeymoon when it was her birthday, so I didn't have time to make it then, but she said it was worth the wait :) So I took the modified quote she liked and the garden theme and ran with it! I pulled the brighter colors from the card that I gave her to go with this. Below are some up close photos of the dimension, butterflies, and more detail.

{I apologize for the background, due to the camera dilemma, I had to take the photos at my in-laws' this week!}
