Mother's Day gifts

These are some origami lilies that I made for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. It was only my second or third time actually doing origami, but I used Origami: The Art & Fun of Japanese Paper Folding by Makiko Ikeda. The paper I used came with the book. I hope she enjoys them; I enjoyed making them... once I figured out the instructions! They involve some tough folds, so it was definitely a bit of a challenge at first!

Following the tutorial by Carolyn King on how to create a paper pocket, I created a little Hershey kiss gift pouch, also for my mother-in-law.
