Cuttlebug Challenges- Welcome Baby Gift Sets

This set was inspired by the post Welcome Baby Gift Sets by Becky, Lea, & Amber. I have multiple friends who are pregnant at the moment, so this is the start of one gift set for my friend who's pregnant with her first little bundle of joy :) As you can tell, she is having a girl whom they've named Christina! I'll be adding to this set with some home-stitched toys and booties, but she has a little while until her due date so I have some time yet to sew :)

The bag was pre-bought and came with the shimmer heart and thick white ribbon. The rest of the bag's decorations were additions by me. Along with the gift bag, I've made a set of 10 birth announcements with coordinating envelopes from paper in my stash. The sentiments are "Sweet Pea," "Little Love," "Little Pumpkin," and "It's a Girl."

Bag: Hallmark, Ribbon: Best Value, Notecards/Envelopes: Gartner Studios, Stamps: heidi grace designs, Ink: Martha Stewart, Brads: MakingMemories, Markers:ZIG Memory System, Staedtler, Felt: C.P.E. Inc.,

Steps to Create: (gift bag)
(1) add stork stamps to edges of white ribbon
(2) adhere burgundy ribbons under heart and along bottom of white ribbon
(3) create pacifier out of felt and adhere in center of heart
(4) adhere brads to white ribbon on either side of heart
(5) cut out flowers, edge with darker marker, adhere to bag with brad

Steps to Create: (cards/envelopes)
(1) cut out background base paper to desired size (I used pre-made notecards)
(2) stamp sentiment on back of announcements and corner of envelopes
(3) cut out circles and stamp on sentiments
(4) cut out other background layers with decorative scissors
(5) adhere background layers and sentiment circles, then adhere all to base paper
(6) adhere ribbon near bottom edge of card
(7) cut out flowers and edge with darker marker, then adhere to ribbon on card with brad
(8) on other side, cover brad back with sticker and outline
