Celebrate, baby

This card was inspired by the post by Jennifer McGuire on using the Cuttlebug and sanding. Although I don't have a Cuttlebug (saddness), I decided to try the sanding technique. Below is a card I created for my friend who just had his first son. The foreground balloon was created by sanding the imprint of a stamp, the same stamp used behind it.

Base Layer Paper: Best Occasions, Stamp: Inkadinkado, Ink: StampCraft, Markers: Staedtler

Steps to Create:
(1) cut background layer for card
(2) cut base layer of paper about a half inch shorter (lengthwise and widthwise) than background layer, and adhere to card
(3) stamp balloons onto base layer
(4) create foreground balloon using sanding, then adhere to base layer using foam tape (I folded over tiny pieces of paper instead of foam)
(5) write then cut out sentiment using scalloped-edge scissors, adhere to decorative paper, then adhere to base layer
(6) outline sentiment paper
(7) cut out corner pieces and adhere to edge of base layer, use same paper to line the inside of the card
